The premise seems interesting, but I want to know how the author treats mental illness since that's a big plot point and I don't want to bother reading something that unintentionally demonizes people with mental illnesses. Can anyone help me with this?

In the book humans have weaknesses and feelings as the supernatural beings that are not mainly in the center are little then less ruled by emotion and the forward instinct to survive. Leaving only the strong to survive. I would like to know about that you think. (less)
