Jillian I think she got ahead of the press and marketing because she “knew” about the “murder” ahead of time. I think when she found Lou running and heard her…moreI think she got ahead of the press and marketing because she “knew” about the “murder” ahead of time. I think when she found Lou running and heard her say “left my shoes and started running” she realized she was attempting to imitate the killer and leave. They then probably got to talking. Gert probably didn’t know that she’d be successful with a 5th murder, but because of the pressure of public opinion, her plan worked. I don’t think you’re thick but that it was a little confusing! This is just how I personally read it. (less)
