To me it sounds like she's the getaway driver while her boyfriend committed robbery perhaps.(less)

The reason prisons have rules is to protect everyone: staff, prisoners, witnesses, prisoners, and the general public. Is she really too stupid to understand this? She would have been given training.

Frank calls his young adult co-workers "youngsters" as though they are nine year olds, not twenty somethings. I have not meet anybody is this age group (my own) who talks this way. Perhaps a 95 year old might do so, but even then it seems more a caricature.

Those kind of character flaws, especially Frank's, seem to be poor writing, which is a reason to lower a rating on a book.(less)

Here are my thoughts from my review.

The only thing that disappointed me was the audiobook reader's style. To be really great at reading aloud, one needs to quickly read the next sentence before speaking it, in order to put the emphasis and cadence where it sounds the most natural. The reader wasn't as consistent and accomplished at this as was needed.(less)
