Cannot wait for the second book!! I just finished Illborn a few days ago and it is easily one of the best new fantasy books I've ever read. Daniel, who are the authors and what are the series that inspired you most in dreaming up the Illborn saga?

The authors in fantasy who have given me the most inspiration to write this series are Robert Jordan, George R.R. Martin and Tad Williams. I love the epic creations of each of these authors.

Outside of fantasy, authors in historical fiction such as Ken Follett and James Clavell, both creators of epic historical fiction, were also a big inspiration. I also love the imagination of Stephen King, who is my favourite author.(less)

Just finished reading Illborn and am really looking forward to Aiduel's Sin. Will there be an accompanying audiobook this time? Also is there a list of pronunciations anywhere for the series? I try my best but there are some names of people and places for which I'd love to get an official pronunciation.

I am still formulating my future plans for audiobook versions, so unfortunately there will not be an accompanying audiobook for Aiduel's Sin. In the first instance, my priority would be to produce an Illborn audiobook.

There is not currently a list of pronunciations, but that is a fantastic idea. I will aim to create that list in the next month or two. Thank you for the suggestion.(less)
