I have just started Ravensong, and it is by a different publisher. There is a character called Abel. He wasn't in the first book. Is he Gourdo's father?

FIRST OFF, THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure if I am allowed to ask this question, but I'll take a shot and see where it lands. The wolf (you KNOW the one I mean) is he here to do good or evil? I will not make it, if he hurts anyone. Sorry I don't know how to phrase the question without spoiling anything for anyone. Hello, could you let me know if this book can be read as a standalone?

Lindsay it heavily references the first book and most of the first third of the book is a recap of events from the first book but from a different perspective…moreit heavily references the first book and most of the first third of the book is a recap of events from the first book but from a different perspective. I would highly recommend reading Wolfsong prior to reading Ravensong. (less)

Will all of the rest of the series also have new covers? (I see Wolfsong is coming out soon) and I need the whole series to look the same on the shelf! Can’t make a blunder and buy the Wolfsong new cover (old not available) and the rest of them old version!
