The second took her only 6 years, but of course like everyone else she's older now.

However, there are Skunked and its sequels, about "Calpurnia Tate, Girl Vet", aimed at younger readers.(less)

I can't help but notice that many of the same names in this book are also in the book To Kill A Mockingbird; the first name 'Calpurnia', the last name 'Tate' (but found elsewhere in the book), Lydia Pinkham's drink, etc. Was that intentional?
