I just started reading this book and I'm finding it hard to remember which day and time it is for the chapter I'm on. Does this get any easier? Or did you just read through and not worry too much about the timeline?

Pgs.74-78, Anna’s locker has a doll taped to her locker with a question mark on its back. Can someone explain how this is offensive to Anna? I don’t think I understand what this symbolizes

Later in the novel, two louts pull her pants down in public to see whether she wears women's underwear or men's briefs. Her classmates question whether she is female or male, and their treatment of Anna is cruel and heavy-handed as they are so uncomfortable with Anna's possible differentness.
