House Rin has two branches, va’Rin is the main house, and sa’Rin is like a cadet house. Lord Varrik va’Rin is the head of house va’Rin, and therefore the head of the entire house Rin as well. Milly is his wife, Lady va’Rin. His sister, Straik’s mother, is the head of house sa’Rin. So Lady sa’Rin and Straik sa’Rin are both part of house Rin, but their house answers to house va’Rin.(less)
