I remember there being another book kinda similar to this. But the name eludes me at the moment. The h is dropped onto a planet (I believe for some crime?), and the H shows caveman tendencies but is actually an intelligent being who hasn't spoken to anyone for a long time. The h offers herself up for his protection. After that, the details get blurry for me. Please let me know the name of the book if you know.
