I do feel the conflict is extreme though I suppose one could argue that magic users prone to abusing their ability vs non magic users and an enemy on the border increase the chance of tensions. BUT I would like to see far less kidnapping and torture used to illustrate the intrigue and animosity. (less)

Read the glass trilogy after the 1st Study trilogy. There are huge spoilers in the 2nd Study series that will spoil the enjoyment of Glass series.
Read as a 9 book series, this set will bring you many hours of joy. It certainly has for me xx(less)
