During a visit to one of the camps it was interpreted to him that the leader of the group said "make sure he eats more before we kill and eat him". About this time a great stirring in the village occurred and the witch doctor leader heard his followers say that there was an army present on behalf of the Christians.

They came to realize that it was the army of God sent in to break up their evil ways of witch craft and cannibalism.
