Riley says her mom died when she was 16, then she tells Ian about her father & how Alex threatened him when he was 17 & Mel took her to live with her until she turned 18. That's fine except later it says she hasn't seen her dad in 10 yrs. how is that possible?? that would make Alex 27 when it was said he's 25 & I assumed Riley was 24/25 but it doesn't make sense if that's the case

At first it was mentioned that Alex is 25 but in Alex's book it was mentioned that when Alex found out the truth about his father he was 15 n Ian was 18 so there is only 3 yr gap btwn them. So in present Alex is actually 27 coz Ian is 30(less)
