Is this book appropriate for Middle School aged kids?

Dana Halek Damato There is assassinations committed by teens and some sexual activity. I would give a heads up for trigger warnings of sexual assault.

Are there Dutch people excited to read this book? I'm Dutch and it seems nice but at the same time Haarlem is one of our biggest cities and we have strict gun laws so I'm curious if Dutch people like this book or if it's more of an "American view on Dutch life"

Dana Halek Damato This is about life in Haarlem during the Nazi occupation in WWII. It’s not about the present time and gun laws.
