This book is about the mortifying ordeal of being known and the pressure knowing other people rely on you. Depression, anxiety, and addiction are very prevalent topics in this book. While the writing would be easy enough for a 14 year old to absorb, I do not recommend reading this book if you're underage. Give yourself a few more years before you feel saddled by the weight of the world.(less)

It is profound, hilarious, cathartic read about what it takes to live, and thrive, in an uncertain world...with so much that can go wrong at any given moment, but also so much that can go right, chock-full of hilarious situations and observations that you want to freeze frame so you can fully savor their poignancy. I can't think of a better book for our moment!(less)
