I think she undid the trauma that she inherited. I did not once see this as time travel (science fiction). I saw it more as speculative fiction. Dorothy's treatment had her "dreaming" about her ancestors' trauma and eventually overcoming it. I believe the new visions showed better outcomes in all cases. The treatment was not changing the past, but helping Dorothy not be affected by the past to such an extent.(less)
