Any believers out there who, {though it may be a one in a million request} ; also read this spell-binding biblically accurate book?? Please. Do tell.

He either knew that Judas was going to d…moreI read it and really enjoyed it. In many respects, I think that Judas always got a bad rap. Jesus picked him. He either knew that Judas was going to do what he did, or he probably should have known. If Jesus was willing to forgive the people who beat him, mocked him and nailed him to a cross, killing him...I do not understand how He could not forgive Judas, as well.

As a believer, I like to think that Jesus DID forgive him, and that Judas is sitting in heaven, right now. Otherwise, as it says in this book, what is there that makes all of the rest of us sinners any better than Judas? We all reject Jesus, at one point or another.

I enjoyed this book. It took SOME liberties in terms of when certain events happened. But it presented some interesting thoughts and provided some possible (and plausible) rationale for why Judas acted as he did. (less)
