Nothing too graphic (the activity happens off-camera so to speak), but I wouldn't want my 10-year-old to read them. There is a lot of violence and descriptions of violence. Other than that, it's a great SF book with lots of action and intrigue.(less)

Loved the book, but did anyone get thrown by the head-hopping POV? I ripped the prologue apart of my own book, drilling down to a solid 3rd limited POV. It's interesting to see a pro, and one that has such strong prose, suffer from something many writers consider a no-no.
