When it says "The bestselling phenomenon returns", is this part of a series/does it coincide with another book? Or is it a standalone?

Birgitt Krumboeck I think that tag line is just about the author. This book is a standalone novel.

Did anyone else find it unbelievable that Rachel could hang a satchel containing something priceless under her robe on a hook on the closet door and people who searched the house wouldn’t find it? Come on, that would have been one of the first places they would have looked.

I have sooo many questions. How big were these paintings? It is inconceivable that you would put a dozen paintings in a leather satchel, which I picture as not much bigger than a modern messenger bag. Which serious artist paints oil paintings on paper unless it is a rough sketc????
