Luci Agree with Kayoshel, there isn't really a bad book in the series though some are even better than the others, and though VI doesn't age in real time a…moreAgree with Kayoshel, there isn't really a bad book in the series though some are even better than the others, and though VI doesn't age in real time and you could probably enjoy any book in the series out of order, it is worth going back 35 years to Indemnity Only, the 1st book in the series, first published in 1987. I think they're all in print on both sides of the Atlantic and you can probably collect secondhand/used copies or look out for ebook deals. I find libraries aren't very good at stocking all of a long running series or buying reprints.(less)

Anyone else notice that in the synopsis of the book (above) the book is referred to as "Double Dirty"? Do you suppose that was the original name? or, just an error?
