It would be an interesting twist if Orion became mortal somehow, the one thing he hates. If Rowan's knowledge of psychology and empathy give her more power over Rowan who has obvious social issues since he was locked in the dungeon for centuries. Book two touched on it a bit. Or if Shai turns out to have bigger role somehow.(less)
