Anyone else disappointed by the author's end chapter focusing on Grof's somewhat pseudo-scientific theories on perinatal experiences etc.? Otherwise a good history of western culture ....

Yet I was indeed disappointed with the pages about Grof - these seemed to appear out of nowhere and felt very much out of tune and not in line with Tarnas' overall sensible and solid approach.
On the other hand: it's 6 pages in a 30-page epilogue & a 445-page book. So, for me: it was annoying but forgivable.
