However, I truly reserve judgement until I know who reads the audio version. (A fantastic reader can make a mediocre book delightful and a great book soar into our souls.)(less)

Yes, and no. It depends on your definition of "explicit".

It has mentions of sex, many times, but there are no sex scenes. There is rape, but again, its only mentioned and there are no "active" rape scenes. There is a part in the book where a guy takes photographs of a young (20's?) girl naked, who was drugged.

Words such as fuck/fucking/fucked/etc, shit, ass, etc, are in the book.

There are some bloody scenes, but I mean, what can you expect when at the end of the summery it says, "Because at /this/ club, if your name is on the list, you're not getting out."?? A happy ending? No.

I would say if your not into drugging/any amount of blood scenes/lots of swearing, this book might not be the right choice. But, if you continue to go ahead and read it, I would say it's worth it. I hope this helped, even if you did already read it.(less)

Jessi My question too! I feel like I missed part of the story or something because I don’t understand why they went together
