Is it me or is there some misprint re; the date/time stamps on some of the entries? i.e. when Steve and Donna are off searching for clues and the time stamps are between 12 and 3 a.m. or thereabouts, yet these are clearly daytime activities. They mention lunch. Not a big deal, just wondering. Also although I am very engaged and entertained, I think the verbal skills of the narrator are inconsistent.

Am I right in thinking Persian is slang for drug running? I've not finished the book yet, but a friend has and she wasn't sure what it meant.
