The primary relationship that unfolds in the book is sapphic and the main character is bisexual (she alludes to her past relationship with a man before her current one with a woman in the book). I didn't use specific terms but in my mind the love interest is a lesbian. Their is also a non binary character and I consider the two best friend characters to be demisexual (Morag) and pansexual (Calder) but that is not explored in book one (it is in side stories I plan to put online.(less)

This story sounds interesting. I saw the author's Youtube video about it. She called it hope punk, I think. The cover looks great. I'm in. Are there any other titles in this niche genre? Didn't know it was a thing.

It's a great term, I find, if you're trying to look for something that doesn't fall under grimdark SFF, which although great, is not always what my heart needs aha. (less)
