Did anyone else think the book jumped the shark at the end? We were supposed to believe that Isobel was Simi's childhood friend, Kayode's ex, Boo's half sister, and the daughter of the man that killed Ronke's dad?
Who is the person we see at the very beginning of the book, in the "Aftermath"?
Ronke is still searching for her happily ever after and thinks she’s found it with Kayode who can be a bit sketchy, added to that, her friends don’t really like him but he’s been showing up and doing better- that counts for something right?

By the end, nothing has happened. These characters are in the same places they started in. Did they learn anything, make any changes or grow at all?
What do you think of the portrayal of Ronke as the stereotypical “fat friend”?
Wahala is a Yoruba word meaning trouble. What were some incidents of trouble throughout the book?
Can someone really influence your poor life choices or was that sitting lying dormant within you and you just needed this person to come along and give you that final push?
It would have been interesting to get a glimpse of their life in the 'before', to see if the cracks in their friendship and often cruel inner monologues some of them had towards each other had always been there or if this too was heightened by the addition of a new group member?
Are the women perfect? Are they believeable?
Boo wasn’t a snob like Simi, but she had standards. How am you supposed to care about this woman?
Are your friends really your friends? What if one is a wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing?
If everyone had mixed race children- would their be racism at all?
Can their friendship survive Isobel?
