But now that I've finished, I think this comment was about Laurent wanting to preserve the arrangement he and Angelica have in their marriage. If anything changes in their comfortable life, both of them suffer for different reasons. Puri/Cristobal pose a threat to their posh and comfy lifestyle and Laurent assures Angelica that they will find a way to keep status quo.(less)
