Has anybody noticed that this book bears a striking resemblance to Glenda Guest's "Siddon Rock", published in 2009? To mention a couple of things - a small outback town with a prominant hill, a troubled woman returnee and a cross dressing man. There are, of course, many differences but the similarities are certainly there.
