Question about the whole series, really: why doesn't Dumarest use an alias to more easily escape the Cyclan? Just read one of the books in the saga where a cyber only learns he is on the same planet because his name is mentioned. Seems an obvious ploy. Especially as someone else in the same book does exactly this.

Which is weird when you consider that planets are, mostly, huge, and there are a bunchteen different planets visited through the course of this series. I image Earl just figures he's safe in the same anonymity the rest of us enjoy in our day-to-day lives. ;)(less)
