My library has only a few books in the series, is it ok to read them randomly? Usually I hate doing that, but with some series it doesn't really matter.

If you have a problem skipping around in a person's life and having her be a mom with young children and then a grandmother and then back to young children... read them in order. As far as the mystery storylines, it doesn't seem to matter so much.(less)
