Does anyone know if there is a GoodReads book group on this book or on Brown? I am new to GR and am not sure how to find groups... I studied with Norman O. Brown at the Univ of California Santa Cruz in the 1970s. I agree with Ernest Becker, the author of the Pulitzer-winning book The Denial of Death (1973 I think), who in that book insists that Brown is one of the most important authors of the 20th century.

'Life Against Death' 1959, 'Hermes the Thief' 1953, "LOVES'S BODY" 1966. Etc. Astonishing understanding of humanness, Being, and history !
