When he was first introduced into the series, which I believe was in the first book, I was thrilled that there would be a sort of mentor for Pip to follow for. As time passed he seemed to sort of appear extremely ignorant of the crimes. I dislike the Fairview Police Department in general.(less)

I personally was disappointed with the lack of an epilogue.(less)
