Kathy I've come to the realization that God already knows what we pray for -- we don't need to tell God about the tragedies in the world, our deepest concer…moreI've come to the realization that God already knows what we pray for -- we don't need to tell God about the tragedies in the world, our deepest concerns, etc. The Bible says the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words. But prayer connects us to God, and connects us to others, and that is why we MUST pray. We need that connection with God, God desires that connection with us. And even if we pray for someone we will never meet, prayer connects us to our community and our world in ways that are ever so important. That is why prayer is good.(less)
