Susan I just finished this book and it never says how old the kids are, not even what grade they're in. It's confusing because they often act really young (…moreI just finished this book and it never says how old the kids are, not even what grade they're in. It's confusing because they often act really young (making silly noises, etc.) but their parents let them go to the grocery store and canvass the hallways in their apartment building alone, without any supervision, so...definitely confusing.(less)
