Arika As it leaves off, yes. It is not a cliffhanger but the author could definitely write a follow up book.

I had a patron ask me to pull this from the shelf as he feels it is too dark. Have any other librarians been asked to "ban" this book? I have not read it yet so I do not know anything about this. also, I do not believe in banning books!

The book is dark in places, but its main fault is that it just isn't compelling or well-written (rather like a Hallmark film is neither compelling and lacks good dialogue, but in a sappy way).(less)
