The story follows a woman who begins to explore her sexuality, but all that is really described in the story is kissing and up to "third base"-- there are no graphic or super detailed sex scenes.
I would look up and be sensitive to some of the book's trigger warnings, as this book also discusses alcoholism, opium addition, and domestic violence, in gauging whether or not you feel ready to read about these topics. (less)
