Why is this book tagged as LGBT? Is it because Alicia is also involved in the ""crush"" on Jen or is there some other representation?

As a queer woman, I'd say the dynamic between Alicia and Jen is more along of the lines of "do I want to be her or be with her?" before definitely deciding on the former. There is no significant LGBTQ+ representation in this novel. (less)

For the SWAT team, you may remember Andrea mentioning that her agencies would detect the FMTA and be all over it. Remember this was an especially strong FMTA, so it would make sense that they would arrive after the thing partook in human flesh. I imagine they were tracking it some way.
As for the ending, I think it's one of those things where you decide. Did he find his happily ever after? Or did he lose his shit after losing his batshit-crazy girlfriend? (I myself am partial to part 2 simply because I didn't like the character.)(less)
