Enid Blyton wrote these six books. I don't know why she didn't write on about the third and the sixth form, maybe she just wanted there to be six books.
However much later another author (Pamela Cox) wrote three other books about these forms. It is strange that third form at st clare's is the seventh book but that is just because it was written after fifth form at st clare's. Sorry for the late answer, I hope it helps.(less)
