Changing his will wasn't about love, or Savannah's future, or his legacy, or finding Liv a new business partner...it was a defiant, impulsive act meant to shake up the stale status quo he was leaving behind. Just trying to get a feel for what this book is actually about--do Liv and Savannah have a romance? I can't figure out from the blurb and the reviews if this is just like, an unexpected girl-power team up, or if they're actually one of the half dozen couples. Thanks!

There are over 14 characters in 7 different love stories, & covers a long checklist of issues (family, marriage, sexual orientation, racial & gender identity, abuse, celebrity, wealth, etc...) Was this just too much to connect with anyone or anything??

Judith I found her "vision" of modern romance pretty realistic, with a nice mix of mainstream & somewhat alternative characters. However, the premise doesn't…moreI found her "vision" of modern romance pretty realistic, with a nice mix of mainstream & somewhat alternative characters. However, the premise doesn't fit with any definition of love I've ever seen. Even if Eliot was bored & sick, Liv did not deserve that level of betrayal & disrespect.(less)
