Thus far, I am enjoying The Light of Luna Park - but help...Stella is a "special ed" teacher in 1950. Which, after a 29 year in SPED myself, I am certain did not exist. In Chapter 9, Stella states she and Jack "met at Vassar." Vassar was not coed until 1969. These are the issues that kill me in an other good book. Anyone else irked by this?

After WWII so many men were applying to college on the GI Bill that Vassar admitted 18 of them.
After that it did not go coed until 1969 as stated above.
