Does this book address issues of class? As a working class woman, I've generally found that women's centres don't work for me, and I wonder what I might learn from this book. And I consider myself a feminist by my own definition of what that means.

But if you want to understand the subjugation of women's bodies by capitalism, I would suggest "Caliban and the Witch: Women, the Body, and Primitive Accumulation" by Silvia Federici. The first author is a former Black Panther activist and the second is an Italian feminist/anti-capitalist activist. Both are in their late seventy, but what they say is groundbreaking.
