Is there romance in this book? It's marked as Young Adult but some YA books read more as Middle Grade. Could someone give me an indicator and where this book would fall on the scale?

One of the reviews I read says that there was a half a page sene that they had to skip cause of romance. Is the romance in this book explicit or is it okay for a 13-14 year old?

Rachel Feeck Nothing explicit. I just finished the book and nothing is coming to mind that would need skipping. The romance gets as far as a kiss.
