The author mentions some trigger warnings, how are the topics handled? Are they more talking about what happened as a memory or first person going through some of the situations? I've read that some people feel she handled them thoughtfully - just thought I'd check before starting the book. TIA!

There aren't any graphic scenes having to deal with the trigger points, they are just mentioned. This is a book about therapy so, talking about these things with a therapist without graphic details.
