I want to know whether the perpetrator of Chief Burkholder's accident (the shooting of the tires and resultant accident, with the shooter still taking potshots at her) was ever discovered. I don't think the incident was ever attributed to any particular person. Fletcher is already gone, Ben doesn't take responsibility. Is it assumed? Also, the name "Ben" is substituted for what should be "Dan" in Ch 33, Paragraph 16.

I am trying to remember if it is from this series or not - but, at some point wasn't Kate pregnant? Did she get pregnant and then lose the baby or something? I don't have a good memory unfortunately. Thanks.
