The book jacket (which I hate to read first as it gives away to much of the story) mentions a buffalo stampede. I do not recall 'surviving' a buffalo stampede. Anyone catch that?

Thurston shame on the publisher....there was no buffalo stampede in this book. It occurs later in the series.
