Is this as much like Joseph playing Russel Crowe's Gladiator as it sounds?

Susan Valles Yes!! But is it still a good read. I loved it! The following books in the series are better. This one starts a little slow, but worth it!

How is this series? I read all the LOTR, Lawhead, Narnia, Dumas and many others and looking around for a new series? Medieval fantasy is always enjoyable. Thanks!

Madisyn Carlin I would skip this series due to the excessively gratuitous violence and the sexual scenes (first book).
