That is why so many members of the Jewish community are speaking out against the book. I am the son of Holocaust survivors and I understand the cruel choices that were forced upon Jews; I know this because, although my grandparents were able to save my mother, they themselves did not survive. I read the book. I found the investigation on which it was based to have been thorough and the evidence compelling. Let those who have contravening evidence step forward and present it. As to the anti-semites, let them use the conclusions reached in the book to stir up more hatred; in so doing--i.e., blaming Jews for betraying Jews--they will have to acknowledge that the Holocaust was real and that Nazis were responsible for the murder of millions of innocents.(less)
