Libby Yes. There is a character who is one of the major demons in Hell.

Not a question, a compliment. The reader who thinks The Ladies of the Secret Circus is too similar to The Night Circus apparently didn't read very much of one or the other. Sorry, but the two stories are quite different, sharing pretty much only that they are well-written excellent reads. Oh, and incidentally, both set in circuses. Maybe no one ever wrote about circuses before????
