"Bone Code" is #20 featuring Temperance Brennan. Should I read Temperance Brannan book 1 to get a feel for who this character is before reading any of the other Temperance Brennan books our of order? I.E. Do I need her backstory to enjoy #20?

Don I've read everything by her. The young adult books, ebooks, all of it. While you don't have to read them in order, I'd start with book 1.

Only because I want people to read her work. She's a fantastic author. Great stories, mystery and thriller. But this book was VERY sub-par for her and I don't want people judging her work based on this one.
But she's very much an author to read.(less)
