Was the dialogue always so bad in these books? I'm an English teacher and the dialogue in this book was awful. I have read all the other Hannah books and I didn't notice it until the last few books.

They come across as trying to make a word count/quota rather than actually creating a more interesting dialogue and plot. Thin novella worthy plot, too many overly detailed recipes and filler dialogue. JMO(less)
