As the original Thrawn Trilogy is presumably no longer canon, is there any re-writing of the contents of those books going on here? I understand this is a prequel but how does it tie in with what technically no longer took place in the current Star Wars universe?

Or start with Zahn's other Star Wars novels, and work towards Chaos Rising.(less)
